After 37 years the old Kempsville Rec Center was demolished to make room for a new facility featuring: zero entry pooly, double gymnasium, 1/8 mile indoor track, indoor pool with 6 laps and a 1 meter diving area, aqua track, cardio and weight center, multi-purpose rooms, and locker areas. Bayside Concrete installed the footings, foundations, deep pool walls, CIP retaining walls, CIP pedestals, stair pans, locker bases, piers, elevator pits, elevated slabs, mud slabs, slab on grad, and mezzanine slab on metal deck. This job included 107 tons of rebar.
